Centralized water supply ‌ refers to a water supply method whereby water is centrally extracted from a source, purified, treated and disinfected in a unified manner, and delivered to users through a water transmission network. This type of water supply includes public water supply and water supply from self-built facilities.

 Centralized water supply is suitable for cities and towns, collective units and rural residential areas, and has advantages in the selection and protection of water sources.

三、The engineering process and basic process of centralized water supply:

The second type: (1) water intake - (2) water treatment equipment - (3) pool or water tank - (4) users

The third type: (1) water intake - (2) water treatment equipment - (3) water transmission and distribution network - (4) users

Note:The most common type in life is the third.
